One way to know that there is a God is through creation, as Romans 1:20 (NIV) says, "For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." Additionally, Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) states, "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." These scriptures suggest that observing creation and seeking God in faith are pathways to knowing that He exists.

One perspective is found in Romans 8:28 (NIV): "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." This suggests that even in the presence of evil and suffering, God can bring about good for those who trust in Him and align with His purpose. Additionally, Psalm 34:18 (NIV) assures us that "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit," indicating God's compassion and presence in times of suffering.

One reason to believe what the Bible says is because 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV) states, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." This suggests that the Bible is inspired by God and serves as a reliable guide for living a righteous life and fulfilling God's purposes.
